Splish splash, not taking a bath

Arcturus was having the time of his life riding on his grandfather's back, feline claws gripping tight to the thick fur to that he wouldn't fall off. They ran across the plains together and it was hard to not giggle excitedly the whole time. He loved any time that he got to spend with his family whether it was his mom, sister, uncles, aunts, grandfather... It didn't matter, he loved them all and he always had so much fun with them. Suddenly Grandpa Sirius jumped up in the air and he felt like he was flying, that momentary feeling of weightlessness as they came back down toward the ground making him gasp and grin, his tail wagging like crazy behind him. Then they landed and he flopped back into his grandfather's neck with a 'oof', giggling wildly again.
Then his grandpa questioned if his parents had started his training yet and he nodded vigorously before he remembered that he was literally on top of his head so Sirius wouldn't see him nodding. "Yeah! Of course!" he insisted proudly. "Dad has given me a bunch of fighting lessons already! And Mom has been showing me how to hunt! Here, I'll show you!" He started climbing down off of his grandfather's back hopping down to the ground once he was down to Sirius' elbow. He turned back toward his grandfather and quickly got into the stance his father had taught him. His tail and ears were tucked out of the way, his shoulders rolled forward and hackles bristled, paws spaced out and knees bent. He lowered his head a bit to cover his throat and then he looked up at his grandfather with a grin, eager to see what he said.
