The other wolf sat back on his impressive haunches. Even seated he towered above her, but he looked as though he was making an effort not to. The man seemed to want to stop and chat, and if Sera allowed herself to admit it - she was lonely. Connections seemed rare and far between. She never knew if she was encountering a wolf looking out for number one, or one genuinely interested in those around them.
