Spark watched the other boy carefully, silvery gaze lingering on the shimmer of his coat for only a moment before she watched the way he shifted his weight, the way he held himself. He was quite a bit bigger than herself but that was not too surprising to her, it seemed many of the barbarians were taller and bulkier than herself or her family, Sizzle being a mirror image of herself after all. But that also worked fine for Spark, she was more than used to using her mobility to her advantage. She remained still, where others might shift their weight slightly when they stood Spark reserved movement until she needed it. The boy spoke and she had a name to put to his face at least. Her paws signed out: friendly greeting. "I am Spark of the Ademre peoples, I hail from the southern continent." Where the rest of her people were, scattered to the wind, she could not say. Even her mother and twin sister were not easy to track down. It seemed only her uncle had settled amongst other wolves. The boy seemed to prepare and Spark herself settled easily into her own usual stance, her tail flagging out even to her spine and toes spreading, rolling her weight slightly forward onto her toes, feeling the ground beneath her paws. The boy offered her a chance to start the encounter and her paws signed out her feelings of his offer: Smug, pleased, confident. Though she had no doubt it was a tactic on the man's part she knew well enough that he was giving her a measure of control. While his face fixed itself into a snarl her's remained as neutral as ever, eyes only narrowing a slight bit more than usual to protect that vital area. And with that Spark would start towards him, not at a run, not to start at least. She approached him head-on at almost an amble, only breaking into a run a few feet from him, attempting to dart to her left, darting her jaw out to nip at his right shoulder as she continued to try and sidestep further into his right side, jaws seeking to continue to harry him with small bites along his right side.
