You've Gotta Understand

She twitched as Chimera touched her stomach, it was something she wasn't used to. She had, since she found out she was pregnant, not once acknowledged that she was. She couldn't deny feeling sick or weaker, but she never let it get in her way of her everyday life. She never let it make her weak.

She looked at Chimera as he spoke again, though still without a true emotion on her face, "I didn't ask you to give up anyone." And she didn't. "I told you what I need to be okay. Even if it isn't." If Chimera had just given Aliana her own den, not even that, if he had just kept her where she was with the dogs, than they would have never had this problem. Or, Chimera would never really know how she felt. "But you fighting me to cage me makes me think that she is more important." She sighed as she looked away from him, back into the trunks of the trees and the shoreline past. "I did not ever chose to be alone. When I went to be with someone they caged me. Please don't do the same again."
