The smile on Gil's muzzle did not fade as he stood up. Stretching out his legs, he curled his toes for a moment before shaking out his fur. Glancing over to the smaller wolf, he nodded before stepping to line up with his new opponent. A buzz of excitement and adrenaline warmed up his chilly body, full from their meal and eager to get back into shape. His tail flicked back and forth as he sized up Dime. Small, but tenacious, Gil would not underestimate the wolf. It would never do to believe that size alone would win you a spar.

With no further need of encouragement, Gil pounced forward. Closing the gap between himself and Dime, he allowed the energy to propel him. Baring his teeth with lips curled, he shifted to the left, aiming his mouth toward Dime's shoulder. Reaching out in an attempt to snag onto skin, he twisted his hips so they moved away from Dime.
