Freedom, at least so far, was proving to be pretty damn fun. Kaija was enjoying the freedom to go wherever she wanted, and she was pretty sure she was already going further from home than she ever had before. She was tired though and decided to settle down for the night, but she'd inadvertently ended up.. well, here. So far Kaija had found nothing at all suitable to use as makeshift shelter and so she kept trekking on, trudging over a field full of debris. More than once she'd nearly tripped straight over something and onto her face, but somehow she managed to stay mostly upright. However when she finally heard a low growl, somewhere not far off, she was caught entirely off guard and stumbled, faceplanting straight into the dirt. Grumbling, she pulled herself upright, not scared persay but definitely uneasy knowing someone else was nearby. "Halt! Who goes there?" Squinting in the darkness she zeroed on on some old machinery, creeping toward it as quietly as her large paws would allow. "Are you a ghost?" Something about this place seemed ethereal and made her uneasy, so it didn't seem entirely impossible that it might be haunted.
