He noted the smaller boy's physic and had a feeling the other was built more for speed but the track was a good distance and Úlfr was sure his endurance was better. He had a lot of practice in keeping pace with larger prey animals and making sure he could push them to their limits. Úlfr tensed and when the starting signal was given he bounded forward. The other male was ahead of him but Ulfr wasn't worried. It wouldn't be for long if he had anything to say about. The pirate put on a burst of speed and sought to catch his opponent.
