Sirius' acknowledgement of Azure's efforts to obey the law did make the expectant father feel better about it all, and he nodded along while he sipped his drink to his father's words. It was a good thing he'd had the mind to put the bottle back down before Sirius continued however, as the mention of termination grasped at his chest and likely would have resulted in a near-drowning. While they did not yet have names or faces, the pups belonged to Azure. There was not much he could call his consensually - aside from Hana herself - and like his father, Az did not enjoy the idea of relinquishing what was his.

The hot flash of anger (while Sirius' response was, in some way, expected) did not have long to linger as the Warlord continued. It was true the Armada did need new blood, new warriors. While Azure hadn't taken much time to meet and greet every remaining Armada member since his return, he did get the feeling they were still near to bursting. "Thank you." He began hesitantly. "I.. I won't allow them to become a burden to the pack. I know we have many mouths to feed, and I can feed these ones, should I need to do it myself." Azure felt compelled to promise at least this. Their stores were not as full-to-bursting as they once were, winter was upon them, warriors needed to eat.
