Kali was surprised to see her cousin stepping up to the plate so far from home. They’d never interacted much, and she couldn’t say it bothered her much, but now that she was the Cherubim she supposed it was her business to know how the others in the pack were fairing. He greeted her politely before jumping right into it, in true Klein fashion. He was slightly taller and slightly heavier, but it didn’t mean that he had the advantage on her. Sorcerer rushed in, brushing by her right side in a manner that almost made her think that he was going to just bypass her, but instead he rose up to try and wrap a leg around her neck and sink his teeth into her scruff. The girl shoved herself into him in an attempt to push him off kilter since he’d likely just be on two legs. If she succeeded in knocking him over, she’d attempt to plant her weight on top of him to pin him down.
