Slow death is best

There was a time choosing to join a family of wolves would have sounded laughable. Now, Kione had met a few wolves and was starting to get used to them. Besides, Kione was so incredibly tired of being alone. How many wolves had he decided to be chummy with just to have some company? Kione nodded at the assumption of working hard. Honestly, Kione considered most things a lot of wolves seemed to call work as a means of play. Hunting and fighting were all play in his books.
They patrolled borders and were more possessive of land but if they did that with a friend along with them as they patrolled then it would still be enjoyable. A different outlook on life it seemed but one that suited the wild dog well. Kione’s curiosity was perked as Chimera said his back would be like others he’d seen.
Kione was still learning about the oddities of wolves so that he had no doubt of. The descriptions he gave were certainly a thing Kione had never considered before. There was no sign of distaste but the painted dog was puzzling over the notion. “They come to you? Do some of the wolves in your pack go looking for them, or you have someone else brings them?” It was a question of tactics versus morals. Kione had his own set of ethics and morals but they were less rigid in some areas than others might tend towards. To him, it was all about the bond of family and if the rest of the world's problems conflicted with it then they best have the power to fight his family to go against it.
“Regardless, who am I to stop a system the pack has set up? If the wolves are facing consequences for their actions then its no skin off my back”
