"No way! No fair! YOU HAVE TO COUNT DOWN!" She yelled at Levi's rapidly disappearing form. Makara kicked up dust and tried to get her paws under her, but it was a rough start. Her paws skidded, covered in a thick layer of dried mud to keep the sensitive pads safe from that itchy, no-good grass. The faster she ran, the more the mud crumpled off of her paws. Pretty soon, each step started itching. "Oh no..." she gasped under her breath, looking down at the trail of flaked off mud behind her. She got the sinking feeling that she'd get in trouble in she slouched back to the den so soon complaining, so she gritted her teeth and skittered as fast as she could after Levi. Eventually she found her rhythm.
