Azure had gathered two of his children just as the sun had begun to set in the sky. His father had told him of Basilisk's lack of regard for their pack borders and safety, and it did not take the direwolf brute long to come up with a punishment that might solidify in his son's head how important it was that their pack be kept safe from intruders. Calypso had been chosen to assist her brother with his lesson, an opportunity the glowing girl took excitedly.

He'd led the children deep into the weeping woods, answering no questions and divulging nothing on what they'd be accomplishing outside pack lands. It wasn't until he'd found a suitable spot further to the northern border of the woods that he spoke, addressing Calypso first. "Thank you for volunteering to keep your brother company for his lesson." Azure acknowledged shortly. The girl nodded, trying to appear solemn though her glow beat faster as her anticipation grew. He turned then to Basilisk. "Do you know why we're here, son?"
