His son was understandably not pleased with his coming punishment, but at the very least Azure could be proud that his son did not offer up excuses in return. Az's head nodded solemnly to his son, elaborating on Basilisk's words. "You snuck a stranger over our borders." While the stranger in question was a child as young as Basilisk was, Azure would not let the lesson go by unlearned. "There is a feeling of security within a pack that comes from the trust you have in the wolves around you. You and your siblings are able to sleep soundly each night knowing you are protected by not just your mother and myself, but the wolves who run the border. By bringing a stranger in beneath the patrol's nose, you brought risk into our home." Azure did not yell at the boy, though his words were clipped and firm.

Azure allowed the weight of his words to sink in before continuing. "You endangered your family and harmed the trust of your pack. To ensure this does not happen again, you will be learning tonight how it feels to be a loner, without the security a pack provides. You and your sister will remain out here in the woods for the night, I will return to collect you both come morning." What Basilisk and Callie didn't know was that Azure's companions would be close by, having already been hidden in the woods in advance. Azure would be close enough to come at their call should there be a danger that the pups were not equipped to handle. "I expect both of you to be in one piece when I return. Your sister is your responsibility and her life is in your paws, Basilisk. Do not fail her again." With that, the Champion shrugged off his satchel, dropping it before the children and turned to leave.

-'exit' except not really because he's not going far-

"Speech"

Both of Azure's ears have notches and tears.
Az has a scar across his right eye, a mirror image of his natural born marking.
Azure has saber fangs, bone spurs on his elbows and knees, and the paws/forelimbs of a bear.
Not all of these features are always reflected in his art.

Azure's companions are a very big bat and a young clouded leopard, unless otherwise stated assume they're not with him.
