Work Up an Appetite

Kione was happy to joke and laugh but now that he started the fight the mocking reply would have to wait until afterward.  Kione got an elbow in his cheek for a response. That wasn’t the real threat though.  The long pointy antlers were a nuisance to avoid.  Kione jerked his head back, feeling the breeze of antlers across his chest, even a tickle of them against the skin.  Heh, good thing no deeper.  He wasn’t sure how much she could avoid cutting with those things.

Kione lunged forward after dancing back. His front paws left the ground as he reached to grab for the base of her antlers.  Where the head and antlers go directs every other part of the body.  If he manages to bite the antler one of his paws aims to land on her muzzle, the other held aloft, ready to catch himself should he need to dart away.  If he could get a good hold of her this way it should be a win with almost no injury to either one of them.
