She twitched an eyebrow at his return greeting, amused and confused in equal measure. She did however stop, giving his bucket and contraption another once over with her eyes. Crabs, was that what he was doing? “Alright.” she said, staying where she was so she wouldn’t scare his… prey. “What do you want with the crabs?” she asked, curious despite herself.
She settled down on her hunches, resting them against the sand, since it didn’t seem like she would be moving very far any time soon. She couldn't go forward without startling his crabs, and didn’t want to go back until she had sated her curiosity. She’d never met anyone who sought to catch crabs before. For that matter, she hadn’t but briefly seen the creatures anyway. She had a brief memory in her childhood of one snapping her paws with its nasty little claws.
