She had been surprised by her father showing up just before their wedding to steal Artorias away, but she just grinned and shook her head as she waved them off. She knew it would probably only lead to trouble knowing the two of them, but she was honestly just glad that her father and Art got along so well. One of her biggest concerns when her and Artorias' relationship began to get more serious was whether or not her father would approve or let her go and with as close as the two men were that hadn't been an issue. It did mean that she was left with the whole evening to herself and for a little while she was wandering the castle, considering what to do with her time. She was just about to go find Lia and see what her friend was up to when an even more surprising voice called for her from the courtyard.
Her ears perked and she rushed out through the castle's main doors with disbelief until her turquoise gaze landed on the very distinctive form of her dear winged brother. She grinned happily and her thickly braided tail wagged behind her as she hurried down the steps and across the stretch of grass toward him, laughing lightly as she collided with him and landed in his embrace for one of his signature, feathered hugs. "Mortis! What are you doing here?" she questioned between her giggles. It really hadn't been that long since she left home, but it still felt like ages since she had seen her brother. Going from living in the same den to not seeing him at all had been a hard change and she was excited to have him here no matter what had brought him here.
