Elysium Festival

Elysium is officially settled in and ready to host so they're throwing a shindig to celebrate! There will be a huge feast on Elysium's main island as well as a fishing tournament, cross country race, and melee extravaganza! The festival is open to any members of packs that Elysium is currently on good or neutral terms with as well as any loners that are friends of these members that could realistically be invited. (Please reference Elysium's pack page to see where your pack stands!) Any of the invited guests must first post in the main gathering and feast thread, but then will be allowed to make one thread within Elysium's lands while the festival is taking place if you would like! Explore, enjoy the island, whatever you'd like to do. You are not permitted to mess with anyone's dens or the pack's resources. If you do, you will be forcibly escorted off of the island by Alastor and crew (and he won't be gentle about it). The festival will start on May 12th and will run until the end of the events which should be on May 24th.

There will be small prizes of gems for all of the winners of the events as a thank you for participating! Now on to the details!

Details of the Events

Fishing tournament: Everyone participating in the fishing tournament will be supplied with options for how they prefer to fish from the Alias Island lake. Whether you prefer nets, poles, or just diving right in to the water all methods are allowed!
Rules:

Every round has a hard four day cut off. If you miss the deadline for the next round you will be disqualified and not allowed to post in the next round.

After each round, I will roll a four sided dice for each character and that will determine how many fish you caught that round.

Anyone with at least advanced hunting skill will get one four sided dice added to their scores each round to weigh the score in favor of those with experience in this field.

After three rounds the character with the most fish wins!

Cross country race: Alias Island has all kinds of terrains from grassy valleys to rocky mountains so lets see if you have what it takes to race across all of them! Compete against all of the racers in a test of endurance!

After each round, I will roll a twenty sided dice for each character to determine who is in the lead. The character with the lowest number is eliminated each round.

Anyone with at least advanced navigation skill will get one six sided dice added to their scores each round to weigh the score in favor of those with experience in this field.

After three rounds everyone will have their rolls added together and the highest score wins!

Meele Extravaganza: The big event of the night! Everyone loves a fighting tournament, but we're doing it a little different here in Elysium! Get ready for an all out brawl!
Rules:

Every round has a hard four day cut off. If you miss the deadline for the next round you will be disqualified and not allowed to post in the next round.

All of the participants will be put into a random drawing and will be split into two teams.

Everyone is given a set amount of “hit points” based on fighting skill level with bonuses for extra large size, dire size, and mutations.

After each round,  I will roll a ten sided dice for each character to determine the amount of damage received.

If anyone reaches 0 hit points, they are knocked out of the fight.

At the end of three rounds the team with the most hit points remaining wins!

How hit points are determined:
Everyone starts with a base 10 hit points.
Fighting level:
Novice +5
Intermediate +10
Advanced +15
Expert +20
Master +25
Size:
Extra large +5
Dire +10
Mutations:
Each defensive or offensive mutation +5
For example, Manea with master fighting, dire height, and two mutations would have 55 hit points.

Sign Ups

You do not need to sign up if you're only coming to the feast or exploring the island, but if you're interested in participating in any of the events please fill out this form so I can get the spreadsheets started and know who to tag when the threads go live! You are allowed to enter one character in each event. It could be the same character or different characters, but it is only one character per player per event. Fill out one form per event!
