Find What's Good

Chimera went out into the depths of the water, letting the natural rush of river water brush through his fur to get the clay off. Just as Reila, it wasn't perfect. She almost went out to swim in the water to join him but by then he was returning to her.

As they had before back at Aspen, she turned her body into him slightly as they got comfortable. Her not unusual wandering eyes admiring him while she wasn't catching herself to take a step back. It was all natural, and with the fun they had she couldn't sit back and think that all of it was fake. If she stayed like that for a longer period of time, she may have shut it down. But instead she was standing up with pools of water flowing off her pelt. Approaching his side she spoke, "Here," before pulling water up over his side and shoulder. The clay wasn't matted in his fur or anything, so it was easy to wash off with just a couple gentle brushes. She'd move down his ribs before heading back up around the center of his neck and then she was done. Laying back down beside him where she rubbed her paws together under the streaming water.
