Standing beside his father, Azure felt nearly humbled. This would be the first important leadership decision he had a hand in, and it was one of the harshest changes the Armada had ever been tasked to adapt to. Looking over the pack sparked a multitude of thoughts and feelings and most alarmingly, an empathy he’d never thought he’d ever find for the wolves that called these plains home.

“We know it will be a particularly difficult change for some.” He added, observing the gathered wolves mildly and trying his best not to linger his gaze too long upon any particular member. “However, we have faith in your strength and in your tenacity. The northern territories are not the kindest to live alongside, though the mountain we intend to claim is less harsh than you might anticipate. Our new home is as unique and durable as each of you have shown yourselves to be, I trust you will all give this change the fair consideration it deserves.”

Clearing his throat, Azure allowed the silence to linger before continuing into the next topic on the agenda. “It has been brought to our attention that certain packs, who do not have the pleasure to call us allies, believe they know more of the Armada than they have right to. While we do not believe there is any truth to this speculation, it does bring up an important consideration on what we decide to leave behind.” The Armada did not have as high a turnover as some packs might, and Azure supposed that their rigid set of rules regarding a wolf’s departure lended to that stability. While a few members over the last few years had vanished suddenly without the required challenge, it was unlikely they’d have made their way to Armada’s enemies as traitors without leaving a trace. Regardless, the alpha’s had made the decision that leaving as little behind as possible was the best approach. “We’ll need all hands on deck to deconstruct what remains here, as well as to improve upon our new home when the time comes. Den sites must be collapsed where possible and any lingering structures reduced to rubble. We do not need to give our enemies an accurate count of our numbers nor any insight towards our daily activities.” Though Azure did not believe in the carrot over the stick and thus would not voice as much aloud, the alpha pair had negotiated benefits for those who took on more than their share of the volunteer work.

"Speech"

Both of Azure's ears have notches and tears.
Az has a scar across his right eye, a mirror image of his natural born marking.
Azure has saber fangs, bone spurs on his elbows and knees, and the paws/forelimbs of a bear.
Not all of these features are always reflected in his art.

Azure's companions are a very big bat and a young clouded leopard, unless otherwise stated assume they're not with him.
