Everything was still and quiet. The fog swirled around her, and it almost felt like it was choking her. She was already on edge due to the lack of visibility, and the apprehension she felt and not being able to see no more than a couple of tail lengths in front of her wasn't helping in the slightest. She remained where she was for a time, though she heard nothing back from Namid yet, so the owl was likely still trying to find something or had gotten lost in the fog as well. Just as she was about to turn back to find her way back out, a voice from the fog caught her off guard. "Pardon me I didn't mean to interrupt you." She whirled back around, straining to see whoever spoke. She couldn't pinpoint exactly where he was just yet, but her heart hammered in her chest from the surprise.
She summoned a growl. Her teeth parted as her hackles rose. She didn't like being caught off guard, and whoever had spoken was definitely not from Aerie. Nostrils flared to catch his scent, and it was clearly that of Habari. She didn't know anyone from that pack, but she knew of their existence. She was sure it was also one of the ones allied with the one that raided Aerie some time ago. And they were no friends of her pack. "Some weather huh? I wonder what it would be like to spar in it." He spoke again. And this time, Ina was able to locate his approximate location.
They were too far South to get a heavy snowfall, but being on Fjord brought the sea wind cutting through it. It whipped around them, briefly parting the fog for just a moment. But it was enough for her to get a glimpse of the stranger. "Consider your wish granted," She snarled. Had she not been caught off guard and already on edge, she probably would have been a little more cordial. But as it was, she felt what she felt. Not to mention, she assumed this stranger belonged to a pack that was an ally of Aerie's enemy.
She jumped from her position, seeking to use her higher vantage point to her advantage. She sought to head straight for where she saw the male standing, aiming to collide her chest into his as hard as she could to both catch him by surprise and heavily bruise him. Her head struck forward as she aimed to grab what she could of him in her teeth. No doubt Namid would hear the scuffle and eventually show up to aid her.
