Their fight kicked off quickly with her shoulder hitting into Wren's chest and her teeth catching the woman's scruff. With how close they were it was impossible to miss how her opponent's head turned and twisted to reach for her own neck, but it was just as impossible to avoid her attack in such close quarters. She felt the smaller woman's teeth scrape the side of her neck which made her wince, but didn't hurt enough to make her let go. She went on trying to press her weight into Wren, shoving into her with her shoulder and putting pressure on where she was holding onto her scruff in attempts to shove the other woman over.

Meanwhile, their companions met in the sky above them and as the wolves' fight continued. The falcon shrieked her challenge to the ravens that occupied the sky with her and Loqui was eager enough to meet it. He swooped in toward the fellow avian, mostly playing around with her as he dove in try and knock his wing against hers—not enough to knock her out of the sky or anything, but a bit of a test of agility and dexterity for her. Cogitare, never one to be left out, broke off from the other birds and dive bombed the wolves below, stopping short of flying into Wren's face. Instead, he flapped his wings in her face to discourage her from biting at Avacyn's neck.
