Tut-Tut It Looks Like Rain

Kione nods at her explanation of checking on the weather. Lowering his head momentarily to scent the sand, finding something odd about the smell he’s picking up. It’s like there's something in the sand but all about them instead of one object beneath his feet. Was it more than just granules here? The microscopic bacteria couldn’t be seen or understood but with his nose pressed down close to it Kione could tell there was something more to it than normal. A mystery to solve someday perhaps.

Glancing from Keahi back to the sky, “I know a bit. I use my nose a lot for the weather.” When she mentioned the wind Kione nodded, both the wind and the scent informing him of the upcoming storm. The fact she could tell him snow going to boreas was impressive and unknown to him. “Impressive. I know what's coming to us, I wouldn’t have caught that part for farther away on the snow.”
