Just you and me

Kitsune sat prim and proper in the shrine territory of Ashen. She wasn’t near the shrine itself, sitting just on the main land near the pathway to the islands her mother owned. She felt like here would be a good place to begin. She had an assortment of herbs laid out before her. It seemed a good place to start - to quiz the young girls knowledge, and see where the two should be starting. She had never taught anyone before, and while she wouldn't admit to it she was as nervous as she could be. She hid those nerves behind decorum and her own training.

Well, there was nowhere to go but forward. After a short, calming breath she raised her head and called her pupil to her. Today, their very first lesson together would begin.
