He relented, giving her the victory though he was basically laying on top of her already. She released, a bit surprised at her own ferocity. She had broken skin, and she made a face at the taste of Bae-Syl’s blood in her mouth. She never really did care for the taste of blood. It was metallic and gross. Only once he had gotten up, separating their forms, did she get back to her paws. It had been an unexpected little spat but Lucy was glad that she had won. Her ears perked forward and she looked to him as he spoke before sticking her tongue out at his words.

“No kidding. You’re too big! You could have squished me.” She was teasing him, not bothered at all by the fact that she’d need to work on learning to fight more efficiently. Instead, she was making her way up the path through the snow, taking the path that took more effort but she was definitely stubborn about it. She didn’t want to be carried around like some pampered pup. She was a young lady thank you very much! She got to the section Bae bounded up and started to climb, grunting a bit as she had to haul herself up.

It took her a moment but she made it, huffing and puffing as she looked around them again. From the current ledge, as she looked up and out over the basin, she could see the top of the waterfall now as it cascaded over the rocks and down towards the lake it had formed within the basin. Her tail wagged behind her before she stepped up next to Bae-Syl. “It’s pretty, isn’t it Bae?” She was panting a little but didn’t seem to mind.

“I’m glad we’re here.” She had missed the troublesome grin for the moment, not that she would have minded either way. She just enjoyed spending time with Bae, even if they could tease the heck out of each other with their antics.
