Another episode one. One different and worse than anything she’d ever dealt with before. That alone had the winged man worried as he whined for his mate. Despite her having embraced him he worried for her. Wanted to curl around her and tell her that things would be alright… but for now he hesitated. He listened to her tell the tale of where she’d been, what had happened. Silently Gavroche thanked Celeste for Bae-Syl. The man had done right by his family twice now, both for Lucette and Bellamy. He really needed to spend more time with the kid some time. Though there was something else to be concerned with as well, Gavroche knew. The man Bellamy fought, Ignis Praetor. The woman had her reasons to hate the man, and had technically initiated the fight, earning his ire as he protected some woman, but… The winged man couldn’t help but worry that might not be the last they saw of him. If he came into contact with Bellamy again… would they fight? Try to kill one another? Questions buzzed in his head, worry not yet fading from him. He should have known that with Bells nothing would ever be easy… he was going to have to get a look at her shoulder soon too, make sure it go dressed again and she had medicine for the pain… But Bellamy didn’t stop there. It turned out she had found a little one, a cub, in need of help. Gavroche furrowed his brow, looking at her with uncertainty. A polar bear, really? Bears could hurt, even kill wolves… they were a dangerous predator… and she wanted to raise one? He supposed it was young and all but… was it really safe to do so? He could tell by her tone she wasn’t going to change her mind though. “Alright… So we have another daughter now. That’s all it means.” Gavroche relaxed a little. “Are you sure that’s wise? A bear will dwarf Bellamy, and you…” James trailed off as Gavroche nodded. “I’m positive, James. We’re not going to turn her away.” He moved beside Bellamy now, checking the dressing of her wound. “Are you in a lot of pain?” He asked his mate. For now, he'd leave the subject of her episode alone... but it was something that he'd return to later. |
As his mate and alpha, Bellamy is allowed in any of Gavroche's threads regardless of how they are marked.
