There would be little need for Widow to wait. There was a challenger in her midst soon enough, appearing the near instant the call came out. Cy was strung tightly, and she was ready. She was more than ready. It was time to test herself again, it was time to push herself again. The winter had been hard on her, as they all were. Still, she was mentally sharp as ever. With her high head and sharp gaze, she sized up the girl on her approach. High steps over the cracked, scorched earth. Entering the ring. Yes, she'd enter the ring with that same, venomous smile she always wore.

"Ladies first." The words are clipped, a glimmer in her eyes. Ladies, as if Cy saw herself as something other. As if she set herself apart-- of course she did. Of course she always did, and she had to. Cyanide's heart hammered in her chest, excitement rampant in system. Instead of setting her defenses, Cy paced back and forth, a light jog. A moving target was harder to hit, and she'd be the hardest of all.
