One step in the right direction

Galho was watching the little ones as Recluse did a patrol, it was important for her to get back into the swing of properly managing her duties, it helped to bring some normalcy back into her life but more than that it was important because it meant she wasn't losing her hold on her duties as an alpha. It grounded her in that assurance. She'd been making her way around the base of the volcano when she'd caught her husband's scent, he'd been moving around higher up the mountain and curiosity flared up in Recluse. She finished her patrol quickly before moving back towards the volcano, taking the time to catch his scent and letting it lead her towards the den they shared. She noted that none of the kids were around right now and the woman approached the mouth of the cave in the stone.

”Eraithus?” She asked, peeking inside the den and waiting for her eyes to adjust to the dimness within.

”Speech” ’Thought’
