His pack was training to go to war. Who would've thought. Valhalla didn't make enemies. Not on purpose at least. It was all that girl Liberty's fault. She probably hadn't meant to do it on purpose, but she should've been more cautious of the wolves that she was hanging around with. If she had been, then Valhalla wouldn't be on the verge of war. There was a very real possibility that some of his family wouldn't come home after the war. That if he went along and marched into battle, that he could possibly not come home. Liberty was still young, but that still wasn't much of an excuse for what she did. But now his family was paying the price for her stupid mistake.

Training with his uncle Syrinx had started the day before and it was a real eye opener. The wolves of Glaciem probably weren't very merciful and under the rule of their ice king, they would probably kill all the Valhallans they came across. He and his people needed to be ready, but he wasn't sure that they would be able to fight with the ruthlessness that his uncle did. A quiet sigh slipped past his silver lips as he moved across the unknown territory. He was a on an island, far from the mainland that was the whole of Alacritis. He needed some time to himself, to gather his thoughts and figure out how he was feeling about this whole thing. It wasn't fair that his family was paying for her mistake. Her mother had died, her understood that, but there were better ways of coping than running off and doing something stupid. A strange scent caught the young Adravendi's attention, cerulean gaze lifting to catch sight of an ebony silhouette in the distance. The wolf smelled female; a rogue. What was another wolf doing out here alone? Pace would come to a halt, gaze fixated on the female, wondering if she would notice him.
