One, two again, one, two again, one, two. Over and over, a two beat jog as she paced back and forth with her head high. It was when she was nearest that the stranger struck out with-- what the hell was that? A stick. A stick of some sort. Not that Cy could focus on that, no. The birds had come down at the same time, seemingly from nowhere. Well, if the sky was nowhere, yeah. Cyanide lashed out at them with teeth bared, doing her best to swat them away.

Still, there was the question of the stick colliding with her side. It was a dull thud, one she had braced herself for. Didn't keep it from hurting, though, yikes. Without another thought Cyanide unsheathed her dagger and lunged forward, seeking soft tissue to gouge into. She'd be quick about it, in and (if she could manage it) out again. Head tossing. A manic energy taking her over and seizing all that she could bring to the fight.

Stab and go seemed to be the name of the game for Cy today. A moving target is harder to hit.
