Deus had said his goodbyes to the lands he'd called home all his life. Every memory he'd made had been here, both the good ones and the terrible. He'd seen death here in Aureus' demise, and been blessed here and bore witness to a messenger from God. The losses he'd suffered could not come close to bringing him to hate his home, and still the Abraxas man was slow to wish to leave it behind.

Eligos called them together and Deus knew what came next. He made his way to his leader and sat while the others began to gather, observing the familiar lands with a longing gaze over his shoulder as he waited.
