The Plunder Plunders (Or tries to but like we lose every raid, so what do you expect)

It wasn't long before the defenders arrived to intercept them and Artisan had hardly a chance to peek around a few gnarled trees for the hostages they supposed they had before some runt ran up at him. The pirate gave the boy a grin and opened his maw to at least introduce himself, and then the small fry was attacking without a word. "Woah!" He exclaimed as the boy leaped, aiming directly for his shoulder.

Artisan moved to intercept the attack, arching his neck for the flying raptor-clawed wolf in hopes of grabbing the boy's scruff in his teeth and yanking him from his flesh before the raptor claws could find purchase. What was with these wolves? They were just so aggressive. Artisan caught himself wishing they'd gone and raided some other pack instead, like the one with the wall perfect for yeeting puppies over.
