Hallucination Caves Altar

Mercury made his way towards the statue. He looked to the butterflies, and witnessed the incredible feat of them moving decorations about. He looked at the statue, with its bright colours and strange illusionary impressions. He wasn’t sure if his gift was the right one, but perhaps the thought would be appreciated. He had worked on the wind chime/dream catcher contraption for hours. It held little crystals dangling from rope that swayed in the wind and twisted and twined together to make little peels of music. It caught the light every which way you turned it, and the binding centre was the criss-cross pattern of a dreamcatcher. Perhaps it suited this statue, perhaps it didn’t.

He approached and hooked it against one of the crystals of the statue's base. High enough that it could move and whisper. Satisfied, he nodded to the statue, and backed away.
