Claire’s face seemed to light up when she looked up to see Meme standing there. The light of recognition when you saw someone you got along with - a friend. Memento Mori was welcomed and a warm smile passed the woman’s lips. “Thank you. For the time being my residence here is temporary… but I like the Hallows thus far. There are good… creatures living here.” She thought of Zephyrus, the large bird, and changed her wording to include him as well. Meme drew closer to the other side of the game and then lowered her rump to the earth. “This is called checkers?” Memento Mori titled her head to the side. “I’ve never heard of it before now… but if you are willing to teach me how to play I’m willing to learn. Then we can play.” A cocky grin found it’s way onto the she-wolf’s face. “Just don’t teach me too well now. You don’t want me to beat you at it, do you?” She winked playfully, her voice light and teasing. It would be nice to have a moment just to sit down and relax. "Talk, 'Think.' |
