Living a Nightmare

Relm didn't move for quite a while as her eyes just followed the glowing grass that headed towards her. She was nearly holding her breath without realizing all the way up until the the light was illuminating right at her paws. Her head rose to look straight up into nothing, but it was like she knew something was there standing over her. She ended up taking a step back eventually from this deep cringing feeling stirring her up inside. But just as she moved, the light went to circle around her as if to hold her in place.

She didn't really feel anything, she couldn't, but watching it swoop around almost like she was prey to it made her take a couple steps forward. There was the thought to run honestly, but she wasn't sure if the thing or being could react to her, hurt her. It seemed after a couple steps she noticed this dark patch of the grasses right by the river that caught her attention. Almost instantly she was feeling herself drawn to it. She was struck by this same familiar fear that she had during the long night, usually a feeling she was unfamiliar with but not in these moments. It was chilling. Her gentle steps moved closer to the dark, almost black round patch of the grass. Maybe she couldn't even control herself anymore.
