Living a Nightmare

She was almost spiraled into this completely black part of the grounds, focusing on every little blade of grass she could see and tunneled into it. Hypnotized. She couldn't pull herself out of it. A harsh exhale left her as the world almost went silent, and she could feel her eyes close but all she could see was the abyssal grass under her nose.

A shiver down her spine made her tense as if someone was back there touching her, but it must have been this trance she was in. It wasn't a few seconds later that she actually did blink again and the form of her bleeding mother curled up on the grasses was staring right back at her when her eyes flashed back open. In the instant it was gone, but she had known what she saw. She scrambled backwards from the vision and seemed to get free from the weird spiritual hold that was on her, and she ran back towards Elysium. It would be a hard travel back home.
