Guts and Glory

Disbelieve was the only emotion she displayed. Her lips did not twitch, her body did not move, and her eyes never left Azalea. Why. Is. She. Here. She would think as the woman came toward her. Dirt was matted into straggly hair, eyes were hollow, and body looked sucked up. How long had she been here? "You look awfully surprised to see me," She was more than surprised. Never for one moment had she thought Azalea was imprisoned here, she had assumed she was off on her adventures she had told her so much about. Never would she think that Isardis would go so low as to steal her best friend and treat her this way. She would put a stop to this. Bright blue gaze never left her friend as she spoke, and slowly Liberty would soak up every bit of information she could. Ears pinned back when she spoke of Isardis and what he had done. That son of a bitch. She would come forward without hesitation, hoping to reach her neck forward and turn Azalea's gaze back on her with her nose. She needed to know she was alright, at least while with Liberty. "Azalea I'm so sorry." She would say as she pushed into her friends embrace, hoping to wrap her neck around the woman's in the best way she could. (a hug for wolves yes?) She would sigh heavily, the chilled norther air causing her breath the mist. "No matter what happens I will be here for you. I wont let anyone hurt you." She would say as she pulled herself away, eyes dancing in delight as memories popped in her head. Isardis. "Azalea listen to me. Isardis isn't a complete wall, he is breakable. You just need to not fight. We will have our chance. For now stay under the radar, do as you are told, and when Isardis comes around..." She would paused for a moment. "Again, do as you are told. I've already been released as a hunter after speaking with Isardis. Maybe you can do the same?" She would say everything in a mere whisper, one only Azalea would be able to hear at such a close distance. She wouldn't let her friend fall because she still wanted to go home. This was their home now, and she would make sure Azalea saw it that way. Not because she wanted her to imprisoned here, but because she didn't want to see her only friend get hurt.
"Speech."
