It didn't take much to convince her brother to leave Elysium for a while. All Scylla had to do was ask and bat her lashes and her giant sibling was in step beside her. Out of pack lands they went, their pace leisurely. They stopped here and there to look at whatever caught their eye, but there was no set destination in mind. Scylla just wanted to spend time with Albion like they used to when they were pups. Just the two of them against the world.
The winter months were cold, but they had both put on thick coats to combat that. Scylla's pelt had never been so thick and lush. It helped today as a chill breeze blew in off of the water that she could smell in the distance. Up above the evening sky was grey and she could hear the rumble of thunder. Snow thunder? The small woman cast a worried look towards her brother, eyes then moving to scan the area for some sort of quick shelter. Enhanced night vision helped tremendously in such a situation and soon Scylla located a little cave that was more of a dugout in the rocks than anything. They'd both be able to fit inside comfortably. "This way," she told him, moving in the direction of the cave. They barely made it inside before sleet began clattering loudly on the ground outside.
Scylla curled up against Albion's side, pulling her long tail around her body much like a fox might. She rested her chin on one of his ivory forelegs and watched the storm outside. The onslaught shifted back and forth from rain to hail and already the buildup of ice on the land was obvious. It was too loud to hear one another speak, so they lay there in silence, waiting out the storm. Gradually it began to taper off then abruptly stopped, leaving the world in a very loud silence. Scylla raised her head, looking up at her brother before looking outside once more. She just opened her mouth to speak when the remnants of the storm clouds parted. Clean, bright moonlight filtered down on the ice covered land. Everything was covered in a crystalline blanket that sparkled like diamonds in the white light of the moon. "Well that's just... incredibly beautiful." Normally she wasn't subject to such female thoughts, but one couldn't deny how lovely and magical the ice covered cliffs looked.
Scylla should be seen as a very adult character who will indulge in acts that others may find graphic and uncomfortable. Steer clear if you don't like this sort of thing.
