Nothing like a raid to get your blood flowing

His fight with the smaller woman had ended as quickly as it began as he pushed her aside, his first opponent hardly feeling like an opponent at all. The one bite he had gotten to his foreleg sung slightly as he pivoted to find his next target, but it was hardly even enough for him to pay attention to. Before he could single out another wolf for him to take on, another emerged from the crowd and rushed toward him instead. Unlike his previous opponent, this brown, spotted male very clearly knew what he was doing and came at him with a much more violent intention. Considering everything he had been told going into this that this would be a practice raid and to only match the intensity of the fight that they were given he was a bit surprised by the attacks that this smaller male brought as they clashed, but if it was a harder fight that this guy wanted he would give him the same in return.

His new opponent dove right into the fight, forcing Deimos to stagger back a step to avoid his open jaws that snapped shut just shy of his throat. Deimos snarled in response, growling as he lunged forward to try and grab at the back of the shorter male's neck, but that proved to be quite a misstep on his part as the other brute tossed his head back, one of those short horns on his head scrapping right along the bottom edge of his jaw. He growled louder in response, wincing at the sharp sting of pain while blood started to trickle down his neck from the new wound. Partially out of reflex, his heavy bear-like paw swung for his opponent's shoulder near the side of his neck both to try and sink his long, curved claws into flesh and to shove him away and put some space between them before he took another staggering step or two back to regroup.
