Honestly, it was hard for Celeste actually to be mad at Kuroki. Even when she wanted to crumple up in a ball and cry until her heart gave out, she still wanted him to hold her tight and tell her everything would be okay. But the words that dribbled from those dummy lips of his made her fur bristle. "SORRY?" She seethed through clenched teeth, raising her upper lip to bare them at him. A low growl emitted from her chest, but before she could wallop him again, she caught Cy leaping in to defend both of them. She had to admit that they were all at fault. What a coincidence though that she and Cy had come into heat simultaneously. Surely that would be punishment enough for Oki to have to deal with not one but two litters at the same time. While there were two moms, there was only one father. "Yeah, what she said! What the fuck!" From the outside looking in, the situation was humorous and if anyone else in the band heard them, they were indeed having a good laugh by now. Especially since Celeste hardly had a mouth fond of explicative language like Cy had. "So what are we supposed to do now? Huh? We aren't in a pack anymore Kuroki. We're a band now. We're expected to move frequently and to do that with newborns?? Please tell me you aren't going to suggest we settle close to your mother for a while," there were those tears again. Celeste liked Venom. That was not the issue. Nor was being near Ashen. Oki had mentioned that she had also given birth to a litter recently so being around other pups their age would probably be a good idea. But she did despise the idea of having someone that wasn't her own mother give advice. As helpful as it would be, she was too stubborn to admit they would need help. |
