Meeting the neighbors

P art of the tasks a new pack had to check off their to-do list was meeting their peers across Boreas and Auster. Since Mirovis was the newest pack in the lands and now that they had enough stability that the Blodreina and Haihefa could be away for a short period of time, Requiem had deemed now the best time to start branching out and getting to know some of the other packs and alphas they would be contending with. Lurid had no intentions to keep Mirovis isolated from the rest of the world, so knowing that interaction was an inevitability, Req had decided to make the first moves themselves. Perhaps their initiative would show the ambition of the fledgling empire rising from its ashes to their fellow leaders.
T he closest pack to Mirovis was the Armada, a renowned warfighting pack led by one Sirius Fatalis. Requiem’s initial recon and intel collecting had turned up a number of stories and rumors of the Fatalis patriarch, and he was eager to meet this alpha in the flesh to see if the stories held any water to them. If they did, Mirovis would want to stay in good favor with their neighbors to prevent any undesired violence between their packs. Requiem led the way across the single territory expanse that separated Mirovis from the Armada, stopping just shy of the borders to inspect the land with Lurid. Sharp silver eyes scanned over the vast woods with trees that towered like skyscrapers above their heads. After exchanging a brief glance with Lurid, he gestured with a paw for her to take the lead and issue the call for the infamous Warlord. "Care to do the honors, my love?"
