Bamboo for who? No bamboo for you! [RAID]

The air was driven from his lungs. He had barely looked at the other wolf other than to register smaller than me, which was unusual in itself. As her blade swung around towards his hip, time seemed to flow in slow motion. He already had a scar on his nose and throat, was she going to chop off his whole damn leg?! Who the hell thought raiding was fun?!

As the blade made impact he realised she had hit him with the flat side, but it didn't stop the tingling pain of a nerve strike from shooting down into his limb. Holding his leg up and hoping to use his height to his advantage, he latched onto one of the curved horns and tried to spin her away from him (noticing too late the convenient handle on her jacket). He just needed to gain some space!
