When I fall apart, Promise in the dark

This morning Bae had taken it upon himself to wake up before Luce, and instead of directly patrolling he went right for the boneyard. His pelt was still somewhat sleep ruffled, but a good run was definitely in order. He needed to work on honing his fighting skills if he ever hoped to match Bellamy. Twice he had fought her, both times he had lost, but he felt like winning shouldn't be the priority with her as much as matching her. That was if he ever wanted her approval, after all he would one day need it.

Luce was his if he could gain her approval he felt.

That didn't mean he didn't need Gav's approval but gaining the healer's approval would likely be easier than Bellamy's.

And it was that train of thought that brought the titanous rainbow marked man trotting into the boneyard. A grin was like always plastered on his face as he found a nice dry cleared out spot for his stage. He came to a stop and rounded so his rump would be towards the outside of the arena he had chosen today. His forepaws would tuck neatly under him so he would have his front squared and tensed, ready for combat. His ears would be pressed forward as his eyes narrowed. His neck muscles bristled causing his hackles to raise and protect as much of his neck as possible.

He threw his head back loosing a short howl to summon an opponent in the early morning hours. His head would then level with his spine and his tail would be held straight out as a counterbalance. he was ready for anyone to help him master his fighting skills.
