Those we trust

Spring is finally beginning to thaw the winter chill that had settled into Keahi’s bones. It is a welcomed change and the red woman is out basking in the sun on First Light Point. Her eyes are closed and head tilted back toward the sky when a summoning call reaches her ears. Blinking her eyes open, the woman wastes no time standing to moving to where Sirius waits. The trip down the path is uneventful and soon enough, she is trotting up to where the Warlord waits.

A huge smile is on her lips as she moves to Sirius, approaching the man and moving to lovingly bump her head against his shoulder. With fondness in her voice, Keahi greets the man, “Hello Sirius. How can I help you today?” Stepping back, she turns her ocean blue up to his bright gaze and offers him a huge smile. For now, she does not notice the ocelot that waits in the grass nearby because the Warlord has her attention.
