“Wooh!” He called out as the glass lowered enough. When his daughter stopped, he eased that plane into its crevice and locked it into place. The motions were familiar to them now, and they moved the next glass into place, which worked much the same as the other two. Until the side of the observation post that looked out across the Armada and the open view of the sky was sheathed in glass.

The last piece was the trickiest. They used Bear’s help to ease the glass plane into its spot on the roof, so that Andy could have an uninterrupted view of the sky. When that last piece was heaved into place, he took a step back and admired their work. “Now we just need to move you in. What things did you want to keep in here?” He asked her as he leaned over and kissed her crown.
