The woman had expected to land a grip on his throat but instead took a hard kick to the right side of her face. She felt one tooth make contact with his right front shin as she stumbled a few steps to her left. Shaking her her head and snarling, she was ready to draw more of his blood. The warmth of her own blood running down her leg staining ivory fur a bright crimson.

Her stance widened, ears pinned once more tail, held close and her neck scrunched back up. She would not allow this boy to win. By the time she had regained her balance the dark grey bruit was after her again. She moved but not quickly enough as his jaws closed on her side just behind her left leg. She was thankful then for her thick fur coat as it had kept him from breaking a rib or two, but just barely. The warmth of her blood was felt the moment his teeth made contact and the red was visible only seconds later.

A yelp escaped that was soon drown out by a snarl as she stumbled back a few steps to her right before regaining her balance. She had nearly been knocked over. She tried to snap at his face but couldn't reach it. She had to make a fast decision, for for his upper leg, his shoulder or his neck. She chose his upper leg. The pain in her left side only got worse as she forced her jaws at his upper leg. Hopping for a good enough grip to break or at least rip away muscle and ligaments.

Injuries: 4 puncture wounds in her shoulder, between those puncture wounds is a missing patch of fur and flesh that is NOT deep enough to keep her from using her left leg but deep enough to bleed. Just behind her left leg over her ribs is a full on bite deep enough to make her not want to move her leg but not enough to keep her from doing so, left ribs are bruised but not quite broken
