Surprise. It was the first feeling to come to him when his challenger came into view. He hadn't quite known what to expect coming to the battlefield, but Seraphine certainly hadn't been it. The girl was still young. He did not expect that she would be required to fight in the coming war, and he knew she had an able father that could teach her the basics she would need to survive for now. Why would she come to the battlefield looking for an actual fight?



Seraphine, he greeted with a smile and a nod. What brings you to the battlefield today? He was uncertain whether he was comfortable sparring with the girl. He needed to fight hard, to loose the aggression pent up within him. He wondered if he would be capable of doing that with this young friend of his.
