The girl agrees to spar with him, and Finan is all too eager to get started. He's never fought here before, and hasn't really seen the fields of battle all that much. Avalon didn't seem to attract much attention beyond the occasional predator, though he supposed that was a good thing. The koi woman says all of two words, and at the "ready" remark, he squares up and settles into a semi-defensive stance. The black and white male considers his options. He is bigger and bulkier than her, but for all he knew, she could probably pack a punch, too. Nodding that he was ready, Finan begins.

He moves in an attempt to close the distance, paws eating the ground beneath him as he comes at the koi wolf. He aims to come chest to chest, dead center in an effort to knock her back and leaving no room to get around him were he to be successful. He lunges forward, teeth bared, as he seeks to grab the womans scruff in an attempt to control and restrict her movement.
