His heart pounded in his chest, though Víðarr wasn't entirely sure why. Why did this make him so nervous? It's the act of exposing his soul, leaving it bare for Tenshi. Vulnerable. It's vulnerability that he's been patently against for his entire life... but it's vulnerability that he trusts her with, as well. There is trust, comfort in his closeness to her. She has become everything to him, and he would be happy to show the world that. By Tenshi's side is the place that he wanted to be most of all, and that was the place he'd fight to stay. The viking king can't help but allow a broad smile to crack his face as she gives her answer.

The resounding yes leaves him elated. His heart warm, swelling in his chest. The shadow smooshes his face right back into hers, a happy, lively kiss. Víðarr couldn't recall any time he'd been this happy. This well and truly happy. The mountain woman would be his viking queen, and that warmed him in a way that he couldn't describe. In a way that he couldn't explain. He's never been so incredibly and immensely happy, with all the pieces coming into place.

"Anything for you," Víðarr breathed, his face resting against the woman's neck. His embrace is warm, and he doesn't want to let go... despite dinner looking damn good where it lay. Reluctantly, he'd release her so they could eat. "It will be the wedding of your dreams, I promise." He didn't know exactly how to pull it off, but he knew Tenshi would be there every step of the way. That would be more than enough for Víðarr.
