Obsidian |
Obsidian lurked in the shadows, watching over Rayne. Wolves twisted and writhed in the bloodbath, the pale Isardis among them, another albino that must have been a daughter squaring off with Chrysanthe. The black horse snorted softly. She could smell the big cats that had come along. They hadn?t shown on the actual fight yet, but she could smell them. She sensed movement at her side, but only acknowledged it with a soft, near silent nicker of greeting. The brown and black mottled male Sarak had joined her to stand next to her. Blue orb flicked down to note that the emerald green eyes of the wolf were fixed on one of the fighters, a rumbling growl shuddering his chords. The fighter in question was dark, with unusual marking s that looked like a skeleton. Obsidian?s glance left the male, to fall on Cormalin, who had just lost. Her ears pinned, eyes narrowing, nostrils flaring as she watched the blood stain his black fur crimson. The female who had dealt the blows peeled away from her friend, and charged straight at Rayne. Attacking a healer. These Glaciem wolves were sickening. From what she had gathered by what she had heard from the wolves, attacking any healer was a sin. Haunches quivered, and then drove her forward. She had a clear shot, and took it. Her long legs took her in ground eating strides toward the female, but she didn?t issue a scream, like she instinctively wanted to. This wolf deserved no warning. The ground was soft from fall weather, and muffled her approach, she hoped. And the wolf looked intent on her attack. The sounds of the fighting around helped too. As the oddly marked female strove at Rayne?s left side, Obsidian came from behind, at a charging gallop. She drove her hindquarters under, digging into the ground with her hooves, and lunged both forelegs at the wolf?s spine, neck arched, chin tucked to her broad chest. She aimed to pummel the wolf?s spine with sharp, hard hooves, while her head snaked forward in an attempt to lock teeth around the wolf?s scruff. Hindquarters squared under her rump, lending balance, while her eyes narrowed to protect from any attacks that might come at them. Obsidian and Rayne v Satis for Dominance / KO Round: 1 of however many is decided. Defenses: Chin tucking to her chest to guard her throat, ears pinned, eyes narrowed.
