Sparrow didn't feel any satisfaction as her opponent peeled away leaving her in the battlefield. She felt... frustrated. This didn't yield any answers. This wasn't helping!

Sparrow spotted Recluse's man as he barreled towards her. What was he doing in this pack? This woman took over and held their kids captive even if temporary and he had the audacity to join her? Was he shagging her on the side? Did he forget what she did to Recluse; what affect her actions had on Recluse?

He came at her with antlers, and she returned with teeth. She dove between his antlers, their prongs piercing her chest as she reached for his throat. She wasn't aiming for a kill or anything so dramatic, she wanted him to hurt, suffer, and answer her questions. His paw hooked around her leg and Sparrow held fast for now. She couldn't meet his eyes, but she glared holes through him all the same. How could he - her husband - be here looking good and well when her death had destroyed Sparrow? She wanted - no needed him to suffer.
